The principle of the Er Gu photoelectric ultraviolet reaction system is based on the oxidation-reduction ability of photocatalysts under light conditions, which can achieve the purpose of purifying pollutants, substance synthesis, and conversion. In general, photocatalytic oxidation reactions use semiconductors as catalysts and light as energy to degrade organic matter into carbon dioxide and water. So photocatalytic technology is an efficient and safe environmentally friendly environmental purification technology. When ultraviolet light with energy greater than or equal to the energy gap is irradiated onto semiconductor nanoparticles, electrons in their valence band will be excited to transition to the conduction band, leaving relatively stable holes in the valence band, thus forming electron hole pairs. Due to the presence of numerous defects and dangling bonds in nanomaterials, these defects and dangling bonds can capture electrons or holes and prevent their recombination. These captured electrons and holes diffuse to the surface of the particles, generating strong redox potentials.
